ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

For me, working with art means being completely with myself and feeling my presence. I experience lightness and freedom when colour and canvas meet, and colour gives me strength and energy. I therefore like to use red to make people aware that „art has the task of keeping alive what is important and necessary for us humans“ (Michelangelo).

STYLE

My artistic work does not follow a clearly standardised style – I choose a multifaceted approach to creating my pictures, which is strongly dependent on my emotions and intuition at the time.
I deliberately avoid composition in the sense of a pre-planned, detailed picture structure and therefore leave the picture design open. In this way, I feel complete freedom and I can develop artistically in a way that brings me vitality and joy.

MATERIALS

I work mainly on canvas, but also on wood or paper. My painting techniques vary: I apply the colours (mainly acrylic) with brushes, palette knives or the palm of my hand, I pour, spray or just let the paint drip onto the picture. For collages, materials such as putty, sand, wire, charcoal, wax, paper, fabric scraps, varnish, etc. are incorporated depending on my mood and intuition.
